Katherine’s Trip to Italy: Part II
The next set of photos are from the Lago di Garda area. The weather is beautiful and we hopped from town to town around the lake, which is very large. The iconic Cyrus tress and olive plants were found all over the properties. I particularly loved the colours of the buildings and the architecture, and fell in love with the grounds of the famous poet Gabriele d’Annurizo at “Il Vittoriale.”
If you are ever in the region, it’s definitely worth a visit. One of my favourite restaurants was a place called La Dogana which was near Pietra Santa. Also a must visit if you are in the Forte region. The photos are all over the place but I hope you will enjoy them and feel free to share you Italy experiences with us. We love to hear all the great stories that happen in one of my favourite countries!
